OUR ROLE —

PRODUCT & UX/UI MODERNIZATION

Rooftop led the modernization of Paullier's client portal, focusing on product enhancement, UX/UI redesign, front-end development, and API integration to a third-party back-end system.

We acted as a product partner — not just an execution team — helping Paullier make informed decisions around scope, priorities, and user impact.

While Paullier already had a live product, we worked closely with their team to prioritize improvements based on user impact, complexity, and long-term maintainability.

Our role combined product thinking and research, design leadership, and hands-on engineering — ensuring every decision balanced innovation with the responsibility required by a long-established financial institution.

THE CHALLENGE

Paullier's existing portal limited client autonomy, required significant manual intervention from internal teams, and no longer reflected the quality and high-professional standards of their advisory services.

The experience was outdated, difficult to navigate, and limited clients' ability to interact autonomously with their investments — creating friction for both users and internal teams.

At the same time, the product relied on a third-party backend system, requiring careful coordination and adding complexity to every technical decision for new features.

The challenge was clear: modernize the experience without introducing operational or reputational risk.

THE SOLUTION

We redesigned the client portal with a strong focus on clarity, usability, and confidence.

The new experience empowers clients to better understand and manage their investments, while preserving the rigor and reliability expected from a wealth management institution.

Working alongside Paullier and coordinating with an external back-end provider, we delivered a modern front-end architecture and a refined UX/UI system — improving both client satisfaction and internal efficiency.
