ASISTIME.AI
FROM AI CAPABILITY TO REAL-WORLD ADOPTION.
ASISTIME IS A PLATFORM THAT HELPS COMPANIES CREATE AND MANAGE AI AGENTS TO AUTOMATE INTERNAL OPERATIONS AND CUSTOMER WORKFLOWS — EMPOWERING NON-TECHNICAL TEAMS TO WORK AUTONOMOUSLY WITH AI.
AS THE PLATFORM SCALED, USABILITY BECAME CRITICAL. ROOFTOP PARTNERED WITH ASISTIME TO REDESIGN THE PRODUCT EXPERIENCE, REDUCE FRICTION, AND LAY THE FOUNDATION FOR A SCALABLE, AI-READY PLATFORM.

The Challenge
Asistime’s core promise was autonomy: enabling non-technical users to configure and manage AI agents without constant support.
In practice, the opposite was happening.
The onboarding process required users to understand complex concepts, manually feed large amounts of information to agents, and navigate an inconsistent interface built incrementally over time. As a result, users depended heavily on the internal team to operate the platform — creating friction, slowing adoption, and limiting scalability.
The challenge was not the AI itself, but making it usable, intuitive, and trustworthy for everyday business users.
OUR ROLE - UX UI LEADERSHIP
Rooftop partnered closely with Asistime as a product and UX advisor.
Before proposing solutions, we led a deep discovery phase to understand how users interacted with AI agents, where friction occurred, and which moments prevented true autonomy. Based on this research, we helped reshape key product decisions, redesign the user experience, and establish a consistent design system.
Crucially, we didn’t stop at strategy or Figma files — our team implemented the redesigned experience end-to-end through front-end development.
We worked as a product and UX partner, helping shape decisions before executing them.

The solution
We re-designed Asistime’s product experience with a clear goal: make AI agents understandable and manageable by non-technical users.
The solution focused on:
Simplifying onboarding and configuration flows
Making agent setup and management easier for non-technical teams
Establishing a consistent UI and interaction model across the platform
Designing scalable patterns that could support future AI capabilities
The result was a cleaner, more intuitive experience that aligned product intent with real user behavior.

WHY THIS CASE MATTERS
AI products often fail not because of their underlying technology, but because users struggle to understand, trust, and operate them.
This project highlights Rooftop’s ability to work at the intersection of product thinking, UX design, and technical execution — helping AI platforms move from powerful capabilities to real-world adoption.
By focusing on usability, clarity, and user autonomy, we helped Asistime turn a complex system into a product that non-technical teams can confidently use and scale.
This case reflects our belief that building AI products is not just about the technology itself, but about designing experiences that make that technology accessible, reliable, and practical.
